Act Of Spiritual Communion

My Beloved Lord and Savior! Although I am merely a sinful servant, I come to You with trust, for You have graciously declared: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." You do not turn away a heart that is broken and humble. I sincerely regret having offended You through my sins, for Your goodness is boundless. I have hurt Your Sacred Heart by resisting Your holy will and breaking Your Commandments; yet I now love You with all my heart, above all else. I truly worship You, present upon the altar. Dear Jesus, I long to receive You in Holy Communion, and though I cannot approach the Holy Table at this moment to unite with You in the Blessed Sacrament, I earnestly ask You to come to me spiritually and to renew my soul with the joy of Your grace. Come, my Lord, my God, my Everything! Visit me, and let me never again be separated from You through sin. I yearn to reflect Your likeness. Teach me Your blessed paths; assist me with Your grace to embody meekness, humility, purity, love, and all the virtues of Your Sacred Heart. Oh Lamb of God! Who removes the sins of the world, cleanse me from anything that harms or displeases You. With St. Francis of Assisi, I pray: 'May the fire of Your love transform my soul, so I may forsake self and the world for love of You, Who have graciously died on the Cross for me!' Jesus, I dedicate my heart with all its affections to You, my soul with all its faculties, and my body with all its senses. In communion with You, I shall work and endure to fulfill the will of the Heavenly Father. I will continually remember Your presence and strive for perfection. Bless me in life and in death so I may glorify You eternally in Heaven.Amen.
