Act Of Thanksgiving After Holy Communion

O Lord Jesus Christ, so gentle and loving, who in this moment, through Your immense kindness, have come into this humble dwelling, please adorn it and fill it with Your blessings, making it suitable for Your presence. May You take Your rest here, so that my heart may find peace in You alone. It should not be enough for You, dear Lord, to grant me Your holy Body; I also ask for the graces that accompany Your presence. It would be of little benefit to partake of the Bread of life unless I am nourished by Your grace. Kindly grant me, Lord, a heart wholly transformed by love for You; bless me with a life devoted entirely to You, and a peaceful death that ushers in eternal life. This is my desire, my plea, and my hope from You, my everlasting God, through the power of this Blessed Sacrament.
