Act Of Thanksgiving After Holy Communion

act
The prayer

Dear Jesus, I express my heartfelt gratitude for the gift of Yourself, the source of every grace, received in the holy communion. I am thankful for all the blessings I have obtained from You, particularly through the Holy Eucharist, where You are always present to offer us comfort and assistance in our times of need. In gratitude for all Your gifts, I offer You everything that I am and possess. Guide me according to Your will. May Your desires be fulfilled within me and through me now and for all eternity. Jesus, accept my humble gift. What can I offer You? I give myself entirely to You, so I may serve You always. I dedicate my body to You, that it may remain pure and chaste. I entrust my soul to You, that it may be cleansed from all sin. I give You my heart, that it may continually love You. I surrender every breath I take, particularly my last; I offer myself in life and in death, that I may belong to You forever and glorify You eternally. Remember the promise of Jesus: "Ask and you shall receive," and pray for yourself. O Jesus, cleanse my sins with Your precious blood. O Jesus, the battle against temptation is ongoing. When temptations approach me, grant me strength. In moments of trial, may I always cry out, "Jesus, have mercy!" and "Mary, help of Christians, assist me!" O Jesus, may I live a virtuous life; may I experience a peaceful death. May I receive You in Holy Viaticum before I depart this world. May my final words be, "Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I offer You my heart and soul." Take a moment now to listen to Jesus; perhaps He wishes to communicate something to you. There may be commitments you have neglected, which He desires for you to reaffirm. Respond to Jesus inwardly and share your burdens with Him. Then lift up prayers for others. O Jesus, show mercy to Your holy Church. Bless our Holy Father and fulfill his petitions. O Jesus, have compassion on all sinners, heretics, and non-believers. Redeem them with Your precious blood. O Jesus, bless my parents, siblings, relatives, friends, benefactors, and all those I have promised to remember in prayer; bless them according to how Your loving Heart knows best. O Jesus, have mercy on the souls enduring in purgatory, and grant them eternal peace.Amen.
