Heavenly Father, as the day approaches when your Son’s glory will illuminate the darkness of our waiting world, help us not to be distracted by greed from the joy that fills the hearts of those who earnestly seek him. May we not be blinded by darkness, but instead be open to the wisdom that enlightens the minds of those who encounter him. We ask this through Christ our Lord.Amen.
