Almighty Father, in the desolation of the Jordan, You appointed a herald to ready the hearts of the people for the arrival of Your Son. Grant me the grace to heed his call and turn away from my transgressions, that I may discern the path to follow, the truth to proclaim, and the life to embrace for Him, our Lord Jesus Christ.Amen.
