Almighty and merciful God, prepare our hearts to receive you. Clear away the obstacles that prevent us from joyfully welcoming Christ, that we may partake in his wisdom and unite with him upon his glorious return. For he lives and rules alongside you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
