O my God, I express my gratitude and admiration for fulfilling Your sacred and delightful will, wholly unmindful of my own desires. With my entire being, I accept this burden that I once dreaded! It is the cross chosen by You, the cross stemming from Your love. I honor it, and for anything in this world, I would not wish it away, for it is Your will. I embrace it with appreciation and joy, as I do all gifts that come from You; and I will endeavor to bear it gracefully, ensuring it does not weigh me down, with the reverence and love that Your works rightly deserve.Amen.
