An Act Of Abandonment To Divine Providence

O supreme goodness of the all-powerful Providence of my Lord! I surrender myself completely into Your embrace. Whether in kindness or in trials, lead me from now on wherever You will; I will not concern myself with the path You choose for me, but I will keep my focus on You, my God, who guides my way. My soul finds no peace outside the shelter and love of this divine Providence, my true Mother, my strength, and my shield. Thus, with Your Divine help, O my Savior, I resolve to follow Your wishes and commands, without questioning why You desire one thing over another; I will follow You unreservedly in accordance with Your Divine will, forsaking my own preferences. Therefore, I commit everything to You, taking no action but to remain peacefully in Your embrace, wishing for nothing except what You inspire me to desire, to will, to want. I present to You this longing, O my God, asking for Your blessing upon it; I undertake all it entails, trusting in Your goodness, generosity, and mercy, fully relying on You, with skepticism of my own strength, and aware of my profound frailty and inadequacy.Amen.
