An Act Of Consecration To The Sacred Heart Of Jesus

I dedicate myself entirely to the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ, offering You my entire being, my life, my deeds, and my hardships. My one desire is to honor, love, and exalt the Sacred Heart in all aspects of my existence. I commit to being wholly Yours and to act solely out of love for You, turning away from everything that brings You displeasure. Therefore, I accept You, O Sacred Heart, as the sole focus of my affection, the protector of my life, my certainty of salvation, the remedy for my weaknesses and inconsistency, the atonement for my failings, and my place of refuge at life's end. O Heart filled with goodness, may You serve as my defense before God the Father and may You avert the consequences of His righteous wrath. O Heart of love, I place my entire trust in You, for I dread what my own wickedness and frailty can bring, yet I hope for all through Your compassion and generosity. Please cleanse me of anything that might offend You or resist Your sacred will; let Your pure love inscribe Your likeness upon my heart so that I may never forget You or be apart from You. Grant me through Your kindness the grace to have my name inscribed in Your Heart, for in You I seek my joy and glory, both in life and in death, dedicating myself to You.
