I trust, beloved Jesus, that You are united with my soul through Your true presence. Filled with grace, I embrace You close to my heart, expressing my gratitude for Your boundless mercy. Why would You unite with a heart so self-centered, so indifferent towards You, so resistant to sacrifice and self-control? You know well how attached I am to pleasure, ease, and honor, and how I struggle to endure even minor provocations, unkind words, or the most insignificant trials. Why, my dear Savior, would You connect with such a wretched and contemptible being? Is it not enough for You to enlighten my soul with Your divine wisdom and guide me towards salvation? Why do You choose to visit me personally? Sweet Jesus, I lack the words and feelings to fully convey the depth of Your goodness. I hold You close to my heart; I worship You as my greatest treasure, my ultimate Love, my beginning and my end, my supreme good. Oh, how I wish I could adore You with the passion that the Blessed Virgin did on earth and continues to do in heaven! Like her, may I too be consumed by the fervor of love for You! Complete, my dear Savior, the saving intentions You have for visiting me. You have granted me light and strength to forsake the paths leading to ruin; now bestow upon me insight and grace to understand and steadfastly walk in the paths of salvation. Dear Jesus, do not deny me the grace necessary to conquer my passions and remain loyal to You. Help me to renounce all earthly pleasures and to find joy in pleasing You, my God, my treasure, and my all. By Your infinite kindness and Your unwavering promise to never forsake those who entrust themselves to Your guidance, I earnestly ask You, Lord, to grant me this grace. Bestow it upon me through the merits of Your most precious Blood, that redemptive and life-giving Blood shed abundantly for the salvation of all and for the sweet consolation of Your devoted servants. Come to my aid, O Mary, my beloved Mother; intercede for me and allow my unworthy plea to find favor through your advocacy. Have compassion on your poor child and do not cease to exercise motherly care on my behalf. Take me, O Mary, under your protection; I will strive to become more worthy than I have been in the past. I will strive to emulate your virtues, particularly your humility and purity, which are so precious to you. Hail, noble Mother of Jesus Christ! Accept my humble offering of praise and gratitude. Obtain for me a pure heart and an innocent mind, that my thoughts and affections may remain ever pure and chaste. Through your powerful intercession, help me to gain lasting benefits from the holy Sacrament I have just received; to faithfully imitate your virtues and to consistently follow your example in my life, so that in heaven I may be joined with you in eternally singing the praises of the ineffable and infinite goodness of your Son. You who were never tainted by sin, keep me safe from its vile contagion; ignite my heart with divine love, that I may always adhere to my Jesus and never be separated from Him for all eternity.
