Children's Prayer For Their Parents

Gracious Lord, Bestow upon our parents Your most precious blessings; fill their spirits with Your sacred grace. May they uphold the image of Your bond with Your Church, which You sealed upon them on their wedding day. Inspire in them a spirit of holy reverence, the beginning of true wisdom, and may they share this gift with us, their children. Guide them to walk in the path of Your commandments, that we may bring them joy in this life and be their crown of glory in the life to come. Finally, O Lord God, please grant that our mother and father may reach a joyful old age and enjoy good health in both mind and body. May they continually thank You for the tremendous gift of being parents.Amen.
