Christmas Dawn Prayer

O Almighty God, Father of heavenly light, a child has been born for our sake, and a son has been bestowed upon us. Your eternal Word descended from the heights of heaven in the stillness of night, and now your Church marvels at the presence of her God. May you open our hearts to embrace his life and broaden our understanding with the dawn's light, so that our existence may be filled with his glory and peace, who lives and reigns forever.
