Christmas Prayer

O Lord, during this sacred time filled with prayer, joy, and music, we exalt you for the marvelous gifts you have bestowed upon us: for the brilliant star and the song of angels, for the cry of a newborn in a humble stable. We honor you for the Word who became flesh as a little Child. We witness his glory and are enveloped in its light. Accompany us as we celebrate the paradoxes of Christmas — the incomprehensible made understandable, the delicate poetry turned into tangible reality, the vulnerable Infant who shakes the world to its core. Before you, we bow like shepherds, innkeepers, and wise men. Inspire us to grow greater than we are.Amen.
