Eternal God, Father of all goodness, we stand in watchful anticipation for the light of salvation and the birth of your Son. With hearts full of gratitude, we remember his humanity and the life he lived among us. May his divine strength guide us in responding to his call for forgiveness and new life. We pray this through Christ our Lord.Amen.
