Come, Thou Redeemer Of The Earth

hymn
The prayer

Come, O Redeemer of the world, and reveal Thy birth from a pure virgin; let every generation bow in worship, for this birth is befitting the Creator of all. Conceived not by human desire, but by the Holy Spirit, You are the Word made flesh, the promised fruit revealed to humanity. The virgin's womb bore this gift, remaining pure and untarnished; virtues shine forth from this sacred space, for God dwells within His temple. He steps forth from His place of glory, that royal abode of purity, a mighty being in dual nature, now joyfully prepared to fulfill His mission. From God the Father He originates and to God the Father He returns; His journey includes conquering death and hell, resuming His place upon the divine throne. O You, who are equal to the Father, don now Your earthly garment; empower our frail existence with Your boundless strength. May Your cradle radiate with brilliance, illuminating the darkness with a new light, where unwavering faith shines brightly, and twilight shall never touch. To God the Father belongs all praise, to You, eternal Son, we offer our adoration; all glory be to God, the Holy Spirit, as is fitting eternally.
