Daily Prayer - 2026-05-17

Heavenly Father, in the quiet of this moment, we turn to You with hearts longing for Your presence and peace. Like the apostles gathered in the upper room, we come together seeking unity in prayer, trusting in the strength found in community. We are grateful for the gift of your Son, Jesus, who revealed Your name to us, who calls us to know You intimately. We rejoice, even in our trials, remembering that in sharing in the sufferings of Christ, we draw nearer to His heart. Let us not be ashamed in these moments, but glorify You through them, for we find solace in Your Spirit resting upon us. Lord Jesus, you prayed for us, entrusted to the world but belonging to You, promising eternal life through knowing You and the Father. Help us, today and always, to embrace this truth, holding fast to Your teachings with unwavering faith. In our struggles and in moments of praise, may our lives reflect the glory of Your works—works given by Your hand and fulfilled in love. We thank You for the grace and authority You bestowed upon Jesus, through whom we find eternal life. Guide us, that we may live not for ourselves but for Your glory. Draw us ever closer, that despite the world's challenges, we stand firm in hope and love, rooted in Your truth. May we be ever thankful, ever seeking, ever surrendered to Your divine will. Grant us the courage to walk this path with faith and humility, knowing that everything is in Your loving care.Amen.
