Daily Prayer - 2026-05-24

Heavenly Father, I come before You in awe and gratitude for the gift of the Holy Spirit. In the quiet moments of my day, remind me of that driving wind of Pentecost, that mighty presence that unites hearts and voices across every divide. Fill me with Your Spirit, Lord, that I may proclaim Your love in my own small way. Thank You for the diverse gifts bestowed upon each one of us. Help me recognize that, though we are many, we are one body in Christ. May I use my unique talents for the benefit of others, to build up this body of faith, and to serve You with joy and humility. Jesus, I long to hear Your words, "Peace be with you," echoing in the depths of my soul. Calm my fears and doubts, as You did for the disciples behind locked doors. Let Your peace be the foundation upon which I live, speak, and love. With open heart, I surrender my sins to Your mercy, trusting in Your promise of forgiveness. Help me to extend this mercy to others, to heal and to reconcile, as You have healed and reconciled with me. Guide me, Spirit of God, in the ordinary rhythms of my life. Let Your presence be my constant comfort and strength. May I always be aware of Your nearness, inspiring me to act justly, love tenderly, and walk humbly with You.Amen.
