Daily Prayer - 2026-06-10

Heavenly Father, In this quiet moment, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude. Thank You for the gift of this day, for the breath in my lungs, and for the love that surrounds me. As I reflect on Elijah’s unwavering faith, I am reminded of Your power and presence in my life. Lord, how often I find myself straddling the line between faith and doubt, between Your truth and the distractions of this world. Help me to choose You, Lord. Help me to follow You wholeheartedly. As the prophets of Baal cried out in vain, I see the futility of seeking fulfillment in anything other than You. Forgive me for the times I have turned to false comforts and empty promises. Teach me to trust in Your steadfast love and to seek Your voice above all others. May I always remember that when I call upon You, You are faithful to answer. In the Gospel, Jesus reminds us of the importance of Your commandments. Help me to embrace them, not as burdens, but as pathways to a deeper relationship with You. May I strive to live in accordance with Your will, teaching others to do the same with love and humility. Let my actions reflect Your goodness and invite others to know Your grace. In moments of uncertainty, may I find stillness in Your presence. In my struggles, may I cling to the hope You provide. I surrender my fears and doubts to You, trusting that You are at work, fulfilling Your promises in my life. Thank You for Your unwavering love, O Lord. I lift my heart to You in awe and wonder. May my life be a testament to Your glory.Amen.
