Daily Prayer - 2026-06-13

Heavenly Father, Today, as I come before you, I am reminded of the call you placed on Elisha’s life. Just as he left behind the familiar and stepped into the unknown, I too seek the courage to follow your promptings. Help me, Lord, to embrace the paths you lay before me, even when they lead me away from comfort. In the moments of my daily life, I often find myself caught in the worries of this world, much like Mary and Joseph searching for Jesus. Please grant me the peace to recognize your presence, even in my moments of anxiety and confusion. May I always remember that you are guiding me, leading me back to your embrace, even when I stray. I surrender before you, Lord, my fears and uncertainties. I trust that you are working in my life, just as you were in the life of your Son, who sought to dwell in your house. Help me to be attentive to your voice, to listen deeply, and to ask the questions that lead me closer to you. In my journey, may I cultivate a heart that follows you with fervor, just as Elisha left everything behind to serve you. I am grateful for the chances to grow, to learn, and to turn away from my distractions. Lord, guide my heart to a place of understanding and obedience, as I strive to keep your words close, like Mary did, cherishing each moment in my heart. Thank you for your unfailing love and the promise of your presence in every step I take. May I be a beacon of your light to others, reflecting your grace and compassion in all I do.Amen.
