Daily Prayer - 2026-06-16

Heavenly Father, As the dawn breaks anew, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude for Your unwavering presence in my life. Your words remind me that even in the depths of our failures, like Ahab’s, we have the opportunity for repentance and transformation. Thank You for the gift of humility, which opens the door to Your mercy. Lord, I confess the times I have turned away from Your light, choosing paths that lead me away from love and compassion. Help me to see the faces of those I struggle to love, and to remember that they, too, are Your children. Teach me to pray for my enemies and to extend grace where it feels impossible. As a new day unfolds, may I embody Your call to perfection—a perfection found in love, not judgment; in kindness, not resentment. Help me to recognize the beauty in every soul, just as the sun shines on both the good and the bad. Lord, I surrender my fears and my anger to You. I trust that in turning towards love, I may find peace—not just for myself, but for those around me. Let my heart be a vessel of Your grace, a conduit of hope in a world that so desperately needs it. May I strive to be a reflection of Your perfect love today, drawing strength from Your example, and persevering in the face of adversity. Thank You, Lord, for the promise of redemption and the assurance that with You, all things are possible.Amen.
