Daily Prayer - 2026-06-16

Heavenly Father, I come to You with a heart open to Your presence. In the quiet of this moment, I seek Your voice and ask for guidance in my life. Lord, like Ahab, I acknowledge the times I have turned away from You, choosing my own desires over Your will. I am sorry for my failings and the times I have caused harm to others. Grant me the grace to humble myself, to turn back to You with sincerity and repentance. Jesus, You teach us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. Help me to embrace this radical love, challenging as it may be. Open my heart to those who have hurt me and give me the strength to offer forgiveness, just as You forgive me each day. Lord, let Your love be the foundation of my actions. May I see each person with Your compassion, knowing that Your sun rises for all, both the just and the unjust. In my interactions today, fill me with the courage to respond with kindness and mercy. Father, remind me that perfection lies in striving to love as You love, drawing ever closer to Your heart. Help me to trust in Your promises and to walk in the light of Your truth amid the daily struggles and joys. Thank You, Lord, for never forsaking me, even in my weaknesses. May Your peace envelop me, grounding me in Your steadfast love.Amen.
