Daily Prayer - 2026-06-17

Heavenly Father, As I come before You today, I am reminded of the powerful journey of Elijah and Elisha. Lord, help me to embrace the call to follow You with unwavering faith, just as Elisha did. Teach me to desire a double portion of Your Spirit, so that I may live out my life with Your love and grace overflowing in every moment. In the quiet stillness, I reflect on the true intentions of my heart. Lord, as I strive to do good in this world, remind me not to seek the applause of others. Help me to give, to pray, and to fast out of pure love for You, knowing that it is in the secret of my heart that You see me. May my actions be rooted in humility, and may I find joy in serving others, seeking no reward but the treasure of Your presence. Forgive me, Lord, for the times I have sought recognition instead of Your grace. Help me to surrender my pride and to find my worth not in what others see, but in the quiet assurance that You are with me always. I long for a deeper connection with You, to know Your love in the ordinary moments of my life. May I see You in the faces of those I encounter, and may my heart be open to Your whispers of guidance. Thank You for the promise that You see all that is hidden and will repay me in ways I cannot imagine. I place my trust in Your goodness and mercy, knowing that You walk with me, guiding my steps along this beautiful journey of faith.Amen.
