Daily Prayer - 2026-06-28

Heavenly Father, As I come before You today, I pause to reflect on the gift of Your presence in my life. You, who are ever faithful, remind me through the story of Elisha and the woman of Shunem that our acts of kindness and hospitality open doors to Your blessings. Thank You for the people who have welcomed me into their lives, and help me to extend that same warmth to others. Lord, as I ponder the depth of my baptism into Christ’s death and resurrection, I acknowledge the struggle within me. Help me to embrace the newness of life that You promise. May I die to my selfish ways and rise to live fully for You. Teach me to trust that in surrendering my desires, I will find true fulfillment in Your love. In the Gospel, You call us to radical love and commitment. I recognize, dear Lord, the challenge of putting You first in all things. Help me to bear my cross with strength, knowing that in losing my life for Your sake, I will discover the abundant life You offer. Remind me to cherish the small acts of love, like offering a cup of cold water, knowing that in these moments, I encounter You. Father, in this stillness, I surrender my worries and fears to You. I trust that You see my heart and know my needs. Fill me with hope and courage, guiding me as I walk this path of discipleship. Let me be a vessel of Your love to those around me, bringing comfort and kindness to all I meet. I offer You my life today, Lord, and I pray for the grace to live in a way that reflects Your glory.Amen.
