Dedication Of A Child To The Precious Blood

Dear Jesus, friend of the little ones, in your earthly days, you welcomed them with open arms. We now present this child to you, seeking to dedicate him/her to your most Precious Blood. We implore you to envelop N. with your blessings and the power of your Blood so that he/she may remain steadfast in the grace of baptism, becoming a true child of God. O Jesus, who suffered on the cross, grant N. refuge within your sacred wounds. Hide him/her in the sanctuary of your Sacred Heart. May he/she never know the sorrow of disappointing you. We commit this child to you, Lord Jesus, and to your divine Blood, that he/she may always remain loyal to the Holy Spirit dwelling within, who wishes to guide him/her towards a holy life. Through the intercession of your pure Mother, the Immaculate Virgin Mary, we present N. to her Son, Jesus. We ask you, holy Mother, to wrap this child in the embrace of your loving heart. We plead, Jesus, to bless this child so that in this life he/she may bring joy to his/her parents, and in heaven, experience the eternal happiness of the blessed, who forever sing praises of your redemptive Blood.Amen.
