The prayer
O Heavenly Father, merciful God, we no longer seek Jesus in the tomb, for he has risen and is now the Lord of all life. You lift us from the depths of death, raising us with him and renewing within us the gift of life. Strengthen in our minds and hearts the resurrected life we possess through Christ, and guide us as your people toward the fullness of eternal life with you. We pray this through Christ our Lord.Amen.
