Emmaus Prayer For Priests

Lord Jesus, we come before you in prayer, asking for the spiritual revival of our priests. We thank you for the gift of their service to the Church. In these times, replenish them with the abundance of your Spirit. You once revealed the Scriptures to the disciples on their journey to Emmaus. Now bring renewal to your ordained ministers through the truth and might of your Word. In the Eucharist, you bestowed upon the Emmaus disciples newfound life and hope. Feed our priests with your Body and Blood, enabling them to reflect the death and resurrection they commemorate at your altar in their lives. Instill in priests a passion for the Gospel, a zeal for the salvation of all, courage in their leadership roles, humility in their service, and a spirit of fellowship with each other and with all of their brothers and sisters in You. For you cherish them, Lord Jesus, and we love and intercede for them in Your name.Amen.
