Ems' Prayer

As I carry out my responsibilities, Lord, regardless of the call I receive, grant me guidance and protection from all dangers, great and small. I aspire to serve to the best of my ability, no matter the situation. I commit to honing my skills, ensuring my judgment remains sharp and clear. This vocation of selflessness is not well understood by many, yet I am always prepared to assist those in need. To have the opportunity to help a child regain their joyful laughter brings me fulfillment. Though I may not hear the words of gratitude, the knowledge that I’ve made a difference is enough for me. While some seek the approval of others, I count myself truly fortunate. Thank you, Lord, for choosing me to serve in EMS.
