The prayer
I worship You, my Lord, and I cherish You with all my heart. I express my gratitude for having brought me into existence, for calling me a Christian, and for safeguarding me throughout this day. Forgive me for the wrongs I have committed today; may You graciously accept any good I have accomplished. Watch over me as I prepare for sleep and shield me from all perils. May Your grace accompany me always.Amen.
