Evening Prayer

O Holy Spirit, most compassionate Comforter, You originate from the Father in a way that transcends our understanding. I ask You to come and dwell within my heart. Cleanse and purify me from every sin, and sanctify my soul. Remove all impurities, refresh its dryness, warm its coldness, and rescue it from sinful paths. Cultivate true humility and surrender in me, so that I may be acceptable to You and that You may remain with me eternally. Most Blessed Light, most lovable Light, grant me illumination. O Delightful Joy of Paradise, Source of Purest Happiness, My God, unite Yourself with me and ignite in my innermost being the flame of Your love. My Lord, guide, protect, and lead me in all endeavors. Strengthen me against excessive fears and despair. Bestow upon me a genuine faith, unwavering hope, and a heartfelt and complete love. Help me to consistently fulfill Your Most Gracious Will.Amen.
