The prayer
Hail, authentic Body, genuinely brought forth From the gentle Virgin Mary, Truly sacrificed, wounded and broken, Upon the Cross for all who are corrupted, From Whose love, with a pierced, sacred side, Flowed the salvific tide of Your true Blood: Grant me a sweet foretaste In the agony of my death, O my loving, tender Lord, Sweetest Jesus, Son of Mary.Amen.
