Holy Guardian Angel

Beloved Angel by my side, my faithful companion, you have walked with me since the day I entered this world. You are my guardian sent by God, guiding and shielding me throughout my life until my final breath. The Creator, who fashioned both you and me, entrusted me to your care. You rejoiced at my baptism, marking my initiation into the Mystical Body of Christ, where I became part of God's family and an heir to eternal life. You witnessed the perils along my path, and every time I stumbled, it was despite your vigilance. You longed for the moments when Christ graced me with His presence in Holy Communion. Even though you were among the angels who reveled in His glory on that holy night, you have yet to partake of Him as I am blessed to do. Please guide me to truly value these miracles! Help me to recognize, as you understand deeply, that serving Christ elevates me to royalty! Fortify my resolve to shun evil and embrace goodness while safeguarding my soul from sin. Protect me from physical harm as I carry out my daily tasks. You will accompany me through all the days of my life, right to my death. Grant me the courage and patience to meet death with a heart full of love for God, knowing that it is through death that I will return to Him in heaven. Then, journey with me to my Judge, and when the moment of my salvation arrives, lead me back to my Father, God.Amen.
