Lenten Prayer For Spiritual Renewal

Heavenly Father, look kindly upon me and listen to my heartfelt plea during this sacred Lent. Inspire me with good deeds, guiding me to manage my desires and undergo a renewal of my spirit. I am powerless without Your assistance. Through Your Spirit, grant me wisdom to discern what is right and the enthusiasm to fulfill Your will. Teach me to embrace new life through repentance, shield me from sin, and help me to follow Your commandment of love. God of love, draw me closer to You. Send forth Your Spirit to strengthen my faith and encourage my commitment to good works. May my acts of penance lead me to Your forgiveness, soften my heart with Your love, and prepare me for the joyous celebration of Christ's Resurrection. During this Lenten time, Lord, sustain me with the nourishing Word of life and unify me with You in love and prayer. Pour Your love into my heart and help me remain steadfast in preaching the Gospel of Christ. Grant me the grace to overcome my human frailties and renew my spirit through Your Sacraments, especially the Eucharist. Loving Father, the source of all life, I reach out with joy to take Your hand; lead me to walk more swiftly in Your ways. Guide me gently with Your mercy, for without You, I cannot fulfill Your will. Father of love, source of all goodness, assist me in transitioning from my former life of sin to a new existence of grace. Prepare me for the glory of Your Kingdom. I ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever.Amen.
