The prayer
Gracious God, we express our gratitude for the nourishment and drink that give us strength and vitality, and for the transformation of our grief into joy. May your Holy Spirit illuminate our hearts, awakening hope in our despair and reviving that which is lifeless within us through Christ our Lord.Amen.
