Marine's Prayer

O Almighty Father, whose authority extends over all creation and whose love is unwavering, help me to recognize Your presence and to adhere to Your divine will. May I remain true to the best version of myself, keeping me shielded from dishonesty in my intentions and actions. Assist me in living a life that allows me to stand before my fellow marines, my beloved, and You with confidence and without fear. Safeguard my family, inspire me to fulfill my duties as a marine, and embrace my responsibilities with zeal and dedication. Grant me the bravery to excel in my daily tasks. Keep me loyal and devoted to my superiors, and to the obligations my country and the Marine Corps place upon me. Make me aware of those under my leadership and lead me to treat them with kindness. Help me to wear my uniform with honor, reminding me each day of the traditions I am to uphold. When I face doubts, strengthen my faith; when faced with temptation, make me resilient enough to resist; and should I falter, give me the courage to strive once more. Direct me with the light of truth, and endow me with the wisdom to grasp the answers to my prayers.Amen.
