The prayer
O Lord our God, with the arrival of your Son, your majesty shines upon the world. Throughout the silent hours of the night, we, your faithful, eagerly await the revelation of your promised Son. In our anticipation, grant us a glimpse of the joy that you will bestow upon us when his glory completely envelops the earth, who lives and reigns with you for all eternity.
