The prayer

Father, you illuminate this sacred night with the brilliance of Jesus Christ, our guiding light. We receive him as our Lord, the genuine light of the world. Lead us to everlasting joy in the heavenly kingdom, where he dwells and reigns alongside you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.Amen.
