In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Witnessing in Adversity The North American Martyrs faced immense challenges and dangers as they attempted to bring the faith to new communities. Their willingness to endure suffering for the sake of the Gospel exemplifies a profound understanding of true witness. They invite us to reflect on our own commitment in moments of difficulty as we strive to live our faith authentically. O Holy Martyrs, who faced hardships without faltering, intercede for us that we may stand firm in our faith despite trials and tribulations. Grant us the strength to bear witness to Christ in all circumstances. May your example of unwavering courage inspire our hearts to persevere. Amen. O God, who did inflame the hearts of Your sainted martyrs with an admirable zeal for the salvation of souls, grant us, we beseech You what we now implore.
