In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Joy in Suffering Isaac Jogues and John de Brébeuf embodied a unique joy, even in their suffering for the faith. Their ability to rejoice in the face of toil and sacrifice reveals a deep connection to God and an understanding of the value of their mission. This joy serves as a beacon for us, encouraging a perspective that sees suffering as a pathway to grace. O Holy Martyrs, patrons of joy in suffering, intercede for us that we can find solace and strength in our trials. Help us to rejoice in our sacrifices for the greater good, and inspire us to bear our crosses with peace. May your steadfast joy guide us in our journey of faith. Amen. O God, who did inflame the hearts of Your sainted martyrs with an admirable zeal for the salvation of souls, grant us, we beseech You what we now implore.
