Novena for Fertility to Conceive a Baby - Day 1

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. O God, who said let the little children come to Me and who love children, please answer the prayers I ask in this novena through the saints’ intercession, especially (mention request here…) Prayer to Our Blessed Mother Most Holy Mother, hear the cries of my heart right now. Blessed Virgin, I want to be fruitful, but I have not yet been blessed with fertility. Grant me fertility over my life and end my suffering. Help make me a fruitful vine within my house. My children will be like olive shoots around my table. Mother of Mercy, I know I was not created so that I would be fruitless, but your Son created me to be effective in all that I do. I know that my season of fertility will come according to your Son’s timing. Amen. Prayer to St Gerard Majella O good St Gerard, powerful intercessor before God and wonder worker of our day, confidently I call upon you and seek your aid. You always fulfilled God’s designs, help me now to do the holy will of God. Implore the Master of Life, from whom all parenthood proceeds, to render me fruitful in offspring, that I may raise up children to God in this life, and in the world to come, heirs to the Kingdom of His Glory. Amen. Prayer to Sts Joachim and Anne Most Holy Saints Anne and Joachim, come close to us and guide our hand and our hearts in the way of virtue. Help us to conceive a child so that we may parent them with a gentle heart as you did. Obtain from God the grace to overcome all infertility so that we may raise our children in faith and bring our families into the Light of Jesus. Sts Anne and Joachim, we place our petitions in your hands and ask that you lay them before the child Jesus. Amen. Prayer to St Collette O glorious St. Colette, I beseech you through the burning love which inflamed your heart for Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament, through the marvelous graces with which He enriched you, and through the loving compassion you did bear to Him in His bitter sufferings, obtain from Him for me my request for fertility which I hope to receive through your powerful intercession. Amen. Prayer to St Raphael to Heal Infertility Glorious Archangel St. Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace. You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, consoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners. I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels. Because you are the Medicine of God, I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body, especially of infertility.
