St. Hildegard of Bingen was a 12th-century German Benedictine abbess, mystic, and polymath who made significant contributions to theology, music, and natural science. Canonized and named a Doctor of the Church in 2012, she is revered for her prophetic visions and her works on holistic healing and spiritual harmony.
