St. Vincent Ferrer was a 14th-century Dominican friar and renowned missionary known as the "Angel of the Judgment" for his powerful preaching on repentance and the end times. He is celebrated as a prolific miracle-worker and a key figure in ending the Western Schism, credited with converting thousands across Europe.

St Vincent Ferrer was a Spanish Dominican priest and confessor renowned for his preaching and learning. He sought to convince the Pope in Avignon to heal the great schism going on at the time, where multiple bishops claimed the papal throne, but he was unsuccessful at the time. He desired no honors or titles and instead became a missionary throughout Europe. God blessed his preaching with miracles and many people were converted to Christ and His Church. Near the end of his life he saw the healing of the schism with the election of Pope Martin V. He died April 5th, 1419. St Vincent Ferrer is the patron saint of Valencia, Spain, and of builders because, like St Francis of Assisi, he built up the Church, which at the time had serious fractures in it.
