Nurse's Prayer

Heavenly Father, grant me the strength I need to meet the challenges of the day that lies ahead. O Lord, imbue me with courage as I draw near to each patient in pain. Bestow upon me the wisdom to choose my words carefully with each interaction. Lord, help me to exercise patience as I bring comfort to those who are ill and vulnerable. Finally, bless me with confidence as day turns to night, that I may reflect on whether I have given my best and acted rightly.
