O Word Of The Father

O Word of the Father, who entered into our world and took on our human form! O Lamb of God, who removes the sins of the world! We approach You with humble reverence, imploring You to let us partake in the Blood shed for us during Your sacred Passion. Reveal to us the signs of Your Holy wounds! May the powerful banner of Your glorious cross be exalted, and through its everlasting strength, grant salvation to all who believe. The reed, the nails, the vinegar, the crown of thorns, the lashes, the spear — these were the tools of Your suffering; purify us through them from every sin. Let the Blood that flowed from Your holy Wounds wash over our hearts, cleansing them from guilt, allowing us to navigate this life free from sin, and bestowing upon us in the next life the joy of eternal happiness. When the day of resurrection dawns upon the world, illuminating it with the brilliance of the eternal kingdom, may we ascend the path that leads above and reside in heaven, forever citizens of its glory. Honor be to the eternal God! Glory to the one Father and His only Son, alongside the Holy Spirit: the Almighty Trinity, who reigns endlessly forever and ever.Amen.
