Offering Of The Will

Lord, I come before You to surrender my will. In these years of development, I desire to entrust it completely to You. Protect it from the threats that may harm it. Through the grace of Your Spirit, strengthen my will, instilling courage to face challenges, determination to rise after setbacks, and aspirations that extend beyond my immediate desires. Make me willing to make sacrifices for a brighter future. Grant me a will that is robust yet gentle, open to the wisdom of calm voices and not overconfident, aware of my limitations and humble, choosing to uplift those less fortunate rather than look down upon them, generous in helping others in need. Help me realize that in performing small actions, a great will is shaped; in embracing humble tasks, a noble will takes flight; and in completing everyday duties with care, I equip myself for acts of valor. Be with me, Lord, to lift me when I falter, to encourage me during difficult times, when I feel weary and want to give up after numerous falls, and when my motivation wanes. Assist me in saying with You: "Not my will, Father, but Yours be done!" Help me overcome my own desires before taking on the world and to master myself before guiding others.Amen.
