Our Lady Aparecida, you who are the beloved of your children, 'totus tuus,' chosen by the divine design of Providence to be the earthly Vicar of your Son, I turn to you now. I am moved to remember, through the dark hue of your image, another of your representations, the Black Virgin of Jasna Gora. Mother of God and our Mother, grant your protection to the Church, the Pope, bishops, priests, and all faithful believers. Embrace under your caring mantle all men and women in religious life, families, children, and the youth in their learning. Health of the sick and Comforter of the sorrowful, provide solace to those who suffer in body and spirit; be the guiding light for those who seek Christ, the Redeemer for all. Reveal to everyone that you are the Mother in whom we trust. Queen of Peace and Mirror of Justice, intercede for peace in the world, allowing Brazil and all nations to experience enduring harmony, so that we may live united as brothers and sisters in God’s family. Our Lady Aparecida, bless all your sons and daughters who pray and sing your praises here and beyond.Amen.
