Out of the depths I call to you, Lord. O Lord, listen to my cry. Be attentive to the sound of my pleading. If you, Lord, note all our offences, who then, O Lord, could stand? But with you is forgiveness, For which we revere you. I wait for the Lord, my soul awaits; I hope in his word. My soul waits for the Lord, more than watchmen wait for dawn, more than watchmen awaiting the dawn. Israel, hope in the Lord, for with the Lord there is mercy and generous redemption. It is he who redeems Israel from all their sins.
