Pentecost Prayer

intercession
The prayer

Father: May our God be praised forever, now and throughout all ages. Amen. O heavenly King, Comforter, Spirit of Truth, you who are present everywhere and fill all things, Treasure of blessings and Giver of life, come and abide within us. Cleanse us from all impurities of sin and save our souls, O merciful Lord. Family: Glory to God in the highest, and peace on earth, goodwill towards mankind (twice). Father: In peace, let us lift our hearts in prayer to the Lord. Family: Lord, have mercy. Father: For the peace that comes from above, and for the salvation of our souls, let us call upon the Lord. Family: Lord, have mercy. Father: For the peace of the entire world and for the unity of all, let us call upon the Lord. Family: Lord, have mercy. Father: For His Holiness Pope N., for our esteemed Bishop N., for our clergy and for all the faithful, let us call upon the Lord. Family: Lord, have mercy. Father: For our city (or village), for our schools, for our nation and for all the believers who dwell therein, let us pray. Family: Lord, have mercy. Father: For favorable weather, and the abundance of the earth's produce and for tranquil times, let us call upon the Lord. Family: Lord, have mercy. Father: For those who travel by sea, for those who are on their journeys, for the sick, the suffering, or those in prison, and for their salvation, let us call upon the Lord. Family: Lord, have mercy. Father: Assist us, save us, have mercy on us, and protect us, O God, by Your grace. Family: Lord, have mercy. Mother: Let us honor the most holy, most pure, most blessed and glorious Lady, Mother of God and ever-virgin Mary, along with all the Saints, and entrust ourselves, one another, and our entire lives to Christ, our God. Family: To You, O Lord.
