Lord, I implore you to accompany me in a profound manner as I encounter the trials that greet me each day. Grant me compassion for those who are innocent and guide me to safeguard and support those who rely on my protection. When faced with perilous situations, I will depend on you for the strength and bravery needed to persevere. And upon the conclusion of my shift, I will express my gratitude that you have been the unseen presence beside me throughout.
