Defender of the Faith St. Leo’s bold defense of Christian doctrine at the Council of Chalcedon set a precedent for future Church leaders. His readiness to confront heresy exemplifies how vital it is to protect the truth and uphold our beliefs in the face of adversity. O stalwart St. Leo, fearless defender of the faith, instill in us the courage to uphold truth amidst confusion. May we advocate for our beliefs with the same passion that you exhibited. Guide us in the fight against errors that threaten our faith. Intercede for me, St. Leo, that I may be a brave defender of my faith.
