Prayer Against Domestic Violence

O God of tranquility, there are numerous places and countless individuals who are devoid of Your calming presence. At this moment, many women and children are burdened by the heavy shadow of fear due to violence in their own homes. We seek Your safeguarding grace and pray for insight for friends and authorities to provide the right support for them. We also remember the many men who feel powerless and lost in their relationships. Guide them to discover constructive ways to express their frustrations and to find hope that doesn’t lead to harmful actions. Lord, act within our nation to combat this crisis. We plead for Your perfect peace.Amen.
